I’ve noticed that shorts, sandals and flip flops have started to make their appearance in the studio, so Summer is on its way! We’re busier than ever, so it’s tricky finding the time to get out and enjoy the sunshine, but happily we are planning the first of our regular after work barbeques on the beach at Gwithian. You’re always welcome to join us there of course, in the meantime we hope you’ll enjoy hearing about some recent projects...
Have fun in the sun!

Trebah Garden
Earlier this year we were thrilled to be selected to develop a new brand strategy and identity for one of Cornwall’s most renowned attractions - the extraordinary Trebah Garden. The rebranding process started with a workshop involving the majority of the Trebah Garden team, we then worked closely with the management team to define their core values and brand personality. Finally the creative stages have resulted in a contemporary logotype supported by exotic imagery that reflects their brand essence. The new look will be officially launched on our stand at the Royal Cornwall Show in June.
Trelya
Because Cornwall is such a beautiful place, it’s easy to overlook the fact there are serious issues facing many people in our community. Trelya is a Cornish charity that helps young people develop the skills necessary to make positive choices about their lives. We were approached to create a step-by-step guide for helping young people make an animated film, the final result is 'Out of it...'- a distinctive toolkit appropriately packaged within a metal film canister.
Repertoire
Based in the heart of Soho, Repertoire specialises in sourcing original music for commercial uses, in particular for radio and TV advertising. They chose Nixon to create an evocative and memorable identity reflecting the diversity of their catalogue. This project was also a great example of how we can work successfully with clients outside Cornwall, after the initial face-to-face briefing meeting we progressed the entire project via email, pdfs and regular phone calls.
Rosevine
The Rosevine is a new venture by experienced hoteliers Tim and Hazel Brocklebank on The Roseland Peninsula. Now relaunched after complete refurbishment The Rosevine aims to redefine family holidays in Cornwall, offering the facilities of a luxury boutique hotel yet with the convenience of your own apartment. Non-residents will be glad to know that they also have a great lunch menu! We were delighted to be approached to create their identity, launch material and build their new website.

Our quarterly film nights are always great occasions and everyone enjoyed themselves a couple of weeks ago, the only thing missing was popcorn and Pearl and Dean!
